The MUSE Afternoon Arts Conservatory program is program designed for students who are serious about studying the arts and are willing to make a fulltime commitment. Students within the program choose a major (Dance, Theater, Music or Visual Arts) and are then assigned a Mentor within their major who creates a schedule of classes based for them.
For students in grades K-8 this program is offered five days a week from the end of the school day until 6pm. All students are required to complete school work, with assistance from MUSE teachers, before they can participate in afternoon classes. Transportation from school to MUSE is currently available from Harbordale, Bayview, Croissant Park, St Anthonys, St Jerome, VSY, Sunrise Middle and New River Middle. New schools are being considered based on demand. The cost of this program is $350/month for 2pm release schools and $300/month for 3pm or later release schools, which includes three classes in addition to regular activities.
For students age 14 - adult, the MUSE Conservatory program becomes a preprofessional arts program. Curriculum and class assignments are strictly tailored to the students academic and professional goals. These students are given opportunities to take Master Classes, Intensives Abroad and are given additional guidance in college selection. The cost for teen and adult students varies based on course load.
